Proxy Marriage

A marriage by proxy in which one or both partners are not physically present at the ceremony. This form of marriage is not valid under United Kingdom law; however, in some cases, the marriage may be seen as valid if both of the partners are domiciled in a country that recognises marriages by proxy.
